Dr. Kathryn Sippel

Dr. Kathryn Sippel grew up in Oakville, Ontario with a wonderful rescued black lab cross named Ripley. At a young age Ripley showed Kathryn the strength of the human animal bond which inspired and motivated her to become a veterinarian. Kathryn completed an Honours Degree in Biological Science at the University of Guelph and received an Honours Degree in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program in 2013. She has enjoyed working in small animal practices since graduation and is thrilled to now be settled with her husband in Carleton Place, Ontario and has been welcomed as a wonderful addition to the Mississippi Veterinary Services team.

Kathryn joined our practice in 2019 and enjoys providing high quality medicine and nurturing the human animal bond. She has a keen interest in preventative care and enjoys working with pets of all life stages.  She is honoured to be a part of so many pets lives helping them live comfortably and thoroughly enjoys meeting their owners. To be able to provide the best possible care to pets, she enjoys all facets of continuing education from attending conferences to studying via online courses.

Kathryn thoroughly enjoys and cherishes her time spent with family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking and playing indoor soccer in the winter. She looks forward to meeting you and your companion!
